If I miss a full week of bootcamp classes can I get a discount off my next membership fee ?
There is no problem if you miss a boot camp session, however, it is advisable to make as many of the sessions as you can. Don’t forget you can attend all or any of our locations throughout your 8 weeks training! Discounts or refunds will not be given for missed classes.
When I join can I attend a bootcamp class in different locations during the eight weeks ?
Yes you can mix and match any of the locations on different days in making up your bootcamp classes. You can attend up to 5 days per week.
What is the maximum no. of bootcamp classes I can do per week ?
You can attend up to 40 bootcamp classes over your eight week membership period, 5 per week, the where and when is up to you !
Do you have any discounts if I get a friend to join once I am a member ?
Yes if you introduce a friend ( Refer A Friend, RAF ) who joins up for eight weeks you get 2 weeks bootcamp training for free. The 2 weeks will be added on to your next 8 weeks training. There is no limit on the number of Refer a Friends that you can avail of.
Can I try out one bootcamp class first before committing to eight weeks membership ?
Yes you can try before you buy, you are very welcome to attend one of our bootcamp sessions for free provided you have never been a Fitsquad Member before. One hour only per new member!
What happens when it is cold or rains, do you still train ?
Yes we train no matter what the weather – our members wear wet training gear at their bootcamp session when it looks like it is going to be damp and plenty of layers when it is cold.
Do you train all year round ?
Yes we train all year round, we only stop for Santy Claus ( 2 weeks off at xmas ! ) During the winter we move Fitsquad Bootcamp to all weather floodlit facilities. It is as important to train during the winter as during the summer. No one in Fitsquad suffers from SAD ( Seasonal Affected Disorder ) during the winter as the endorphins released after training are proven to be four times stronger than anti-depressant drugs !
Do you have more than one membership option ?
Yes we have four options ;
8 Weeks, all locations, € 140.00 ( New members only)
8 Weeks, all locations € 120 (Rejoiners with a break in membership)
8 Weeks, all locations € 110 (Rejoiners without a break in membership
26 weeks ( 6 months ) € 299.00 ( Save € 66 )
52 weeks ( 1 year ) € 499.00 ( Save € 260 )
1 bootcamp class per week, Saturdays only for 8 weeks, € 80.00
I don’t have access to a printer to fill in the registration form
We have blank registration forms at all bootcamp classes if you do not have one printed from the website, just arrive ten minutes early to fill it in.
How do I pay ?
You pay online on this website or you can by cash/cheque at your first bootcamp class, € 140 for eight weeks.
When can I join ?
You can join up any day at any bootcamp class in any location for Eight weeks. All members are on their own individual eight week membership dates.
What should I wear ?
We us the phrase no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing
Head – During winter and early spring you will need a wooly hat keep your head and ears warm
Feet – Trail runners work well in winter as they have better grips for wetter, muddy conditions and regular running runners for summer
Socks – Choose socks made from wicking material, avoid cotton.
Hands – Breathable, waterproof and quick drying gloves are ideal
I am not physically fit, can I still join ?
Yes, you do not have to have a minimum level of fitness, most of our members have very low levels of fitness when joining, everyone trains at their own pace and builds up gradually.
Can I pay by the class ?
No we do not offer a pay by the class option. We simply could not control class sizes if we did as we would never know how many people were coming.
What Kind of Stretches should I do?
Remember stretching should be a normal part of your exercise routine. Its so important to help prevent muscle injury, when we train our muslces shorten and to get them back to their normal length its important to stretch out especially after every workout.
Stretching should be the nice relaxing part of your workout, always remember to breath easy and and try each stretch for 10-15 seconds.
